Numerous sources of financing mechanisms have been used for the development of affordable housing such as Rural Development (formerly Farmer’s Home), the Low Income Housing Tax Credit, the HOME Investment Partnership Program, and various state and local financing programs. In addition to the development of affordable housing, Englewood has developed two (2) market-rate apartment projects and a medical office complex in the Indianapolis metropolitan area. Englewood Consulting Englewood Development Company, Inc. has provided consulting services to non-profit organizations seeking to own, develop and in some cases manage affordable housing projects. Englewood provides comprehensive development consulting services that encompass the entire development process from site selection through construction and lease-up. To date, Englewood has assisted seven (7) non-profit organizations in the development of over four hundred seventy-five (475) affordable housing units in rural communities throughout Indiana and Arizona. Englewood Construction Englewood Development Company, Inc. and its affiliates Home One Development, LLC and Mountain Trace Development LLC, have constructed all of the units developed by Englewood and its non-profit partners. Surak, is the property management agent for all properties in Englewood Development Company's portfolio. Village Management manages more than forty rental properties, containing in excess of 1,600 rental units. Its portfolio consists primarily of affordable rental communities, with some market rate rental properties and commercial office space. A management team consisting of the Vice President of Operations, Director of Accounting, Regional Managers, and a Compliance Specialist, supervise and train local, on-site managers. The Village Management team excels in ensuring its properties are well maintained and operated. Venture Design seeks participation in planning projects by creating solutions, which make the overall location better. We seek to accomplish this through effective listening, extensive research and through utilizing our values and integrity for the benefit of the environment to create the finest design solution possible.
