SMS Terms of Service

These SMS Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of text messaging services provided by Village Management Company, Inc. ("Village Management Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By opting in to receive SMS text messages from Village Management Company, you agree to these Terms.
Program Description
Village Management Company provides Customer Care SMS messages to applicants, residents, prospective residents, commercial tenants, vendors, and other individuals who have requested or consented to receive text communications.
Messages may include, but are not limited to:
Rental application updates
Leasing communications
Maintenance requests and scheduling
Inspection notices
Rent and account notifications
Appointment reminders
Emergency notifications
Community announcements
Resident service communications
Other property management communications related to your relationship with Village Management Company
We do not use this messaging program to send unsolicited marketing or promotional text messages.
Consent to Receive SMS Messages
By providing your mobile phone number and expressly opting in, you authorize Village Management Company to send Customer Care text messages to the mobile number you provide.
Your consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services, applying for housing, entering into a lease, or receiving property management services.
You represent that you are the authorized user of the mobile phone number provided or that you have the account holder's permission to enroll that number.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your interactions with Village Management Company and the services you request or receive.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless carrier's messaging plan. Village Management Company is not responsible for any charges imposed by your mobile carrier.
How to Opt In
Village Management Company obtains consent to send Customer Care SMS messages through one or more of the following methods:
Applicants may voluntarily opt in by signing the SMS/Text Messaging Consent Form during the rental application process. SMS Consent Form (PDF)
Residents may voluntarily opt in by signing the SMS/Text Messaging Consent Form at move-in or at any time during their tenancy.
In limited circumstances, individuals may also opt in by submitting an online form or otherwise providing express written consent where SMS disclosures are presented.
The SMS Consent Form clearly discloses:
The types of messages that may be sent.
That message frequency may vary.
That message and data rates may apply.
How to opt out by replying STOP.
How to obtain assistance by replying HELP.

Consent is voluntary and is not a condition of applying for housing, entering into a lease, or receiving property management services. Village Management Company maintains records of customer consent.
Opting Out
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us.
After opting out, you may receive one final confirmation message confirming your request. No additional SMS messages will be sent unless you provide new consent.
